Golf del Sur

Opened in 1987 and launched by a professional tournament. Since then, it has hosted several competitions at the highest international level. In 1989, 1992, 1993 and 1994, she hosted the Tenerife Open, part ofthe PGA European Volvo Tour, with José Maria Olazábal winning the first two editions and David Gilford and Mark James in the following years. In 1995, Golf del Sur hosted the Shell Wonderful World of Golf, which featured Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson .

As the only golf course in Tenerife, it has 27 holes at the competition level. Palm trees and giant cacti line the field, to which special attention is paid to the protection of it's flora and fauna. Golf del Sur is one of the Spanish courses with TÜV certification according to ISO 14001 Environment and GOLF DE LA BIOSFERA standards. Offering services - golf school, driving range , tennis, mini golf, bar-restaurant, buggy bar, putting and chipping green, pro- shop and changing rooms.
